The award is given out every year to recognize the College's outstanding alumni who are making important contributions within not only their professions, but their communities as well. "I am honored to have been chosen by West Virginia University as their 2017 Distinguished Alumna," said Conroy. This university is very dear to me and my family."
Conroy joined Iconic Group in 2015, bringing more than 20 years of expertise in marketing, media and entertainment leadership to her role. Her responsibilities include overseeing all corporate direction and strategy for the company's global operations. Her mission is to create an innovative, entrepreneurial environment for the company's 150 full-time and 10,000 seasonal employees. Before joining Iconic Group, Conroy held various senior leadership positions at HGTV, DIY Network, and Outdoor Channel.
